This is a Berlin based role and you will directly report to our management team & the founders.


The following tasks may be in your responsibility


  • Design & execution of recruiting strategies in order to attract, evaluate and hire >100 qualified candidates

  • Evaluation and refinement of sourcing and selection procedures

  • Setting up our global HR structure

  • Being the first contact person for all HR admin related questions

  • Working closely with the Executive Management and the Board of Directors, setting strategic plans and processes

  • Conceiving and controlling HR projects and the implementation of new HR policies and procedures

  • Focusing on the development of our talents and the expansion of our personal development measures

  • Building a global talent plan (recruiting forecast) and a partner network

  • Introducing new global corporate & benefit policies/procedures & strengthening our corporate culture

  • Organisation of recruitment events and establishment of strong excellent relationships

  • Building and leading a team of recruiters

  • Conducting global compensation benchmarks as input to our compensation policy

  • Being the point of contact for external parties such as health insurances, authorities etc


Requirements


  • 5+ years  of relevant work experience, emphasis on startups, proven track record of managing large projects and meeting expectations
  • Past experience in working with an employment provider, setting work platform & implementing HR hiring engines
  • Hands-on experience with candidate sourcing, interviewing and on-boarding
  • Master`s or Bachelor's degree, ideally in HR management or similar, with strong academic credentials
  • Team management experience that will lead to maintaining control, also in turbulent times
  • Project management skills: prioritization, time management, attention to detail, efficiency and the ability to improve processes
  • Good knowledge of labor law
  • Proven record on building strong relationships with universities & academic institutions
  • Fluency in English & German is essential to the role
